Dual Tune Flex Coil

Description
Dual Tune Flex Coil
The Dual Tune flexible Coils (large, medium, and small) adapt well to the torso, brain and extremity in a wide variety of patients. Owing to the tight coupling (close proximity) to the human body, maximum S/N can be realized with our coil design. Proton decoupling (proton transmit [using WALTZ-4 and NOE] during phosphorous receive) necessary to improve spatial and spectral resolution is possible without degrading x-nucleus (31P, 13C) S/N. The DT flex coil is available for 19F, 31P, 23Na, 13C, 7Li and 1H. Not all coils are suitable for proton decoupling. Consult factory for details.

Product manual to be posted here soon.

Package
The Dual Tune Flex package includes large, medium, and small size cushioned coils tuned to one x nucleus and 1H for GE or Siemens MRI. Individual and multiple flex coil packages available. Please consult the factory for details.

Compatibility
The DT Flex Coil is compatible to GE 1.5 and 3T MR systems. Siemens 1.5 and 3T versions are works in progress.

Note
The DT Head Coil is not approved by the United States Food and Drug Administration (US FDA). Local IRB approval is necessary prior to use of this device on humans within the United States.
